Showing Solidarity. London March – 10th May 2012.

A proud day where 30,000 officers, supporters and family members descended on London today to show their support of the police.

It was a good day, albeit long, but seeing the sea of officers walking silently along the route, with the occasional sounds of boo’ing, but the general mood was peaceful but determined.
Thank you to all who came and I hope you have a safe journey home.

I will put some of your pictures up. If you have anymore feel free to send them to me.

It’s been worth it.

I am glad I attended although my feet are killing me and I feel exhausted. It was worth the effort and your photos do it justice. I was right at the back with others and the sea of black & white caps ahead was very moving!
